B&M caboose lettering scheme was sides of car and monitor brown (oxide red) . The ends of car and monitor were bright red. this usually faded quickly to caboose red. The roofs color are not specified, but were usually black ( weathered black) due to black petroleum compound used to water proof the tops. The 1900 drawings called for white 8' numbers and letters. When gold lettering was applied to replace white lettering is not clear. Photos are best used to model these gold lettered cars.
This set contains four gold leaf and four white decal sets to model 8 B&M wood cabooses.
